Born and brought up in Dehradun, I come from a city of old souls. I suggest you to read the works of Mr. Ruskin Bond to know exactly what I am talking about. I grew up reading about magic and legends and I let my imagination run as far as it wants to.

 

However, reality grounded me too soon and I ended up in Bengaluru to crunch numbers and write code.

The one thing that still lingered deep within me was that creativity should never be inhibited and so I found a new job which gave me the opportunity to solve problems for people. I enjoyed building solutions where I could see people feel grateful for the ideas that I brought in.

​

But, there's only so much you can do when the tools are limited in features, so I explored further and finally found out that my heart belonged to building ideas. With that in mind I put my focus into becoming a part of the Product world and landed myself a Product Manager role. And the rest, like they say, is history in making.

 

For me, my JTBD is "I want to help people live better lives" and that aligns with my role as a leader in Product.

As for the kid in me that still wanders down the paths of Landour, I keep him happy by delving into music, reading and travelling.
